The Laboratory of Cell and Tissue Culture is dedicated to conducting a wide spectrum of scientific research using in vitro cultured mammalian cells, both normal and derived from various pathological tissues.
This laboratory has the BSL2 status according to the European Union and WHO criteria, i.e., it must ensure sterile working conditions that protect both the worker and the biological material. Only properly trained researchers are authorized to work in the Cell and Tissue Culture Laboratory.
